I collaborated with Landteam to produce a range of original artworks for Coniscliffe House in Darlington, which has recently undergone renovations by the team. The building features office spaces and studios, such as Corstorphine and Wright.

I worked collaboratively on a surface pattern design project with Azure in Minnesota, who specialise in supplying contemporary contract furniture to large interior spaces. Expanding their portfolio I designed two different types of felt products, felt hangings and acoustic felt tiles. The acoustic tiles are made of polyester fiber board with a felt surface. The tiles have a high acoustic performance and can be used as a tackable surface, attached to the wall using velcro, industrial tape or adhesive. The felt hangings are made using 100% virgin merino wool. It is available in 3mm and 5mm. Available in 65+ colors Special finishing techniques to achieve an incredible hand and surface texture. The combination of beautiful design and incredible material make these panels a a statement feature within commercial spaces.

A creative application of the monochrome wallpaper by Promise Tangeman located in LA. Skillfully, she utilised monochrome to craft an impressive feature wall in her office space. The gentle floral patterns and unique flamingo accents beautifully juxtapose the bold geometric lines of the monochrome wallpaper.

Over the past decade I have worked with Emily Ziz based in Australia designing digital surface pattern designs for their interior projects. My designs have been applied across an extensive range of decorative materials, including fabrics, wallcoverings, glazing solutions, solid finishes and acoustic products. Catering to both the commercial and residential markets, they work collaboratively with specifiers on projects of any scale across hospitality, leisure, workspace, retail, aged care, health, education and residential.

Collaborating with Hyundai Livart in Korea, I was approached to design a series of patterns that could be translated into stitch onto mattresses for the 2016 Ensleep Collection. Livart requested a Scandinavian feel to the patterns, keeping them minimal and cool. The collection consisted of four mattresses patterns which were translated into stitch over a six month period.

Maverick Concepts, a design and fabrication lab located in Texas, reached out to me for the purpose of creating concept patterns for their partner company, Artizan. Artizan specializes in producing acoustic panels for walls, screens, and ceilings. In order to explore the creative potential of various materials like perspex, surface vinyls, gold mica, and felt, I digitally designed patterns that were then transformed into three-dimensional structures. This allowed us to push the boundaries of the materials' creative possibilities and their suitability for commercial interior applications.

The project was initiated by capturing shapes and forms in the urban environment through photography, resulting in unique structures. The first design is a layer of acoustic felt in black with white perspex. The second design features a gold mica layer combined with pink acoustic felt.

I was commissioned by  Kaza Concrete to create a surface pattern design for a which concrete tile design collection entitled 'mystile'. I worked alongside a number of designers worldwide to produce the collection which showcases a series of innovative 3D concrete tile designs. My design 'Haus' was inspired by elements of architecture and persian design.

I designed the restaurant feature wall for 100% Design 2016 using the Mix n Match 17 collection. I designed the graphics and partnered with a print company The Keyboard Group who printed the designs onto vinyl canvas. Inspired by travels to Cuba the Mix n Match 17 collection showcases three patterns, Trinidad, La Habana and Obrapia.

The Centre for Process Innovation is a UK-based technology innovation centre in Darlington, giving companies access to state of the art facilities, equipment, and expertise to help develop, prove and commercialise the next generation of biologic products and processes. Working with CPI we designed a series of wide width wallpapers which reflect the theme of all things science. The wallpapers create a dramatic display across three large floors and showcase a stunning central feature running up the shaft walls. A challenging project working with a large scale corporate firm, incorporating contemporary design.

"Myself and the team enjoyed working with Kirath on the bespoke wallpaper for CPI’s National Biologics Manufacturing Centre we enjoyed creating the unique design that reflected our industry. To be able to work with a professional designer was refreshing. It is something that is unique to the building and we receive many comments from visitors who are interested in the design. Kirath understood quite quickly what our thoughts were and was able to translate them into the design with very little input from us, I think designing something this bespoke and out of the ordinary gives the building a unique identity." Their new 'About Night' collection features original, versatile compositional options to define bedrooms with a complete, contemporary look which was exhibited at IMM Cologne 2016. Novamobili used the Monochrome wallpaper from the Mix 'n' Match 15 collection to highlight the bright pops of furniture.

Collaborating with other designers the theme 'creative balance' was explored, as designers how do we do we balance creativity alongside the logistics of running a business. My Mix 'n' Match 11 wallpapers were styled within the campaign.

I was commissioned to carry out a surface design project in Mexico for Wax Revolution, a chain of trendy lifestyle salons. They specifically asked for vibrant and unconventional designs to complement the salon's playful aesthetic. Working with artistic director Stephanie Leclere I supplied the Mix n Match 13 wallpaper system to inject a bright scandi style into this residential project. Using Sombre, Jewel and Ash I designed a feature wall. The wallpaper adds a bold aesthetic into the predominantly white interior space and helps create a zoned area within the open plan space.

Stylish and contemporary, the Home for Life styled by House Beautiful has been designed for the way we live now and combines multi-functional living areas with private spaces. Jewel wallpaper from the '13' collection was used to decorate the children's bedroom styled by House Beautiful and Pippa Jameson.

I was invited to take part within the 'New British' installation, which is a special interpretation of the creative campaign devised by 100% Design 2013. One of Britain’s most innovative and distinctive fashion labels, Vivienne Westwood, partnered with 100% Design, the UK’s largest design event, in a unique collaboration featuring some of the best creatives in the Design industry currently working in the UK. The installation launched on the 9th April 2013 at the Vivienne Westwood flagship store in Milan as part of Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Milan Design Week.
The ‘New British’ exhibition celebrates the revival of British small-scale high quality furniture and lighting production, showcasing carefully selected range of products spanning a range of designs and producers whose emphasis is on craft techniques and sustainability.
Selected by 100% Design and curated with communications designers experts Thomas Matthews, the exhibition reflects a New British confidence in materials and the high quality of workmanship. Often produced using local craftspeople and materials with the application of the latest manufacturing technology, these pieces each reflect a passion for quality, a sustainable and considered approach to form and function, alongside a charm that transcends generations.

I worked with CPS Homes to design a luxury bespoke geometric mix n match wallpaper for their new student accommodation. This bespoke wallpaper is displayed as a central stairwell feature, and to compliment this we designed another geometric wallpaper to decorate the 24 interior apartments. The sparkle black wallpaper from the kg basics 16 collection was used within the project.
