My aim in creating this particular artwork was to promote a sense of comfort and hope for myself through the process, culminating in the completion of the piece with a delicate layer of my favourite shade of pink. Beneath this exterior, however, the painting is charged with feelings of uncertainty, entanglement and hurdles, elements that appear through the ‘perfect’ perceived surface.
